IMPLUVIUM

Iconic and statuary, the IMPLIVIUM kitchen takes the name from the tub of rainwater collection of ancient Roman villas, which has inspired the design of the work top.

The outline is delineated by a cut at 45 degrees, filleting the edge to the doors, it descends to a basin that collects the work space. The large worktop is a continuously functional area where the wood block cutting surfaces freely shift from place to place, making for large work surfaces. The sides are characterized by the absence of horizontal cuts. The doors open from above, revealing drawers and large containers.
