An Outdoor Courtyard Showcasing Cardoso Cobblestone
This project in San Francisco, designed by Architect Lev Bereznycky from Lundberg Design, showcases the unique Cardoso Cobblestone.
This stone is quarried in Italy, in the Apuan Alps, where the village of Stazzema sits. The village stretches out between the villages of Pruno, Cardoso, Stazzema, Mulina, and Pomezzana. Pietra del Cardoso is a metamorphic rocks, made from fragments of granite particles. Due to its mineral composition, it is known for its compactness and toughness.
The coloration of this stone runs from pale grey to medium grey to blue-grey and it is the best choice for exterior design (Floor – Non Freeze-Thaw Environment; Wall – Freeze-Thaw Environment0), as well as for interior projects (Countertop, Floor – Commercial, Heavy Traffic, Wall,Shower Floor, Shower Wall, Steam Shower Floor, Steam Shower Wall).
