Business Development Manager
We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager for our Architectural Elements Division.
As a Business Development Manager, you will apply your skills alongside our experienced sales team, supporting regionals sales efforts around California. The ideal candidates must have a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experience in the residential area of high value-added service, preferably in Architecture, Design, and Luxury premium products sector.
Present, promote and sell to existing and prospective clients
Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships with retail partners, the A&D community.
Strategically drive and manage the growth of business and develop a successful distributor network.
Achieve agreed sales targets and outcomes
Reach potential customers through cold calling and targeted campaigns
Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximise satisfaction.
Present an image that mirrors that of the client.
Travel regularly around California and be available for international trips.
Minimum three-five years’ experience working in another high-end furniture or A&D company
Excellent selling, communication and negotiating skills
Understands the importance of retail, A&D and contract markets and can identify the best ways to work with them.
Highly motivated and target-driven with a proven track record in sales
Ability to build productive business relationships to be driven by ambitions, entrepreneurship, results, the love of selling and a passion for great design.
Ability to plan and work independently and conscientiously
Good time management, prioritisation and organisational skills.
Must be willing and ready to travel, including international trips.
Must have granted permission to work legally in the U.S.
